Join High School students from across the San Francisco Bay Area for 6 weeks of summer program where you will learn skills to make a difference in the community. The YCS Summer of Service Together is a service program for youth to engage in community leadership and civic engagements. Youth will have the opportunity to work together to design and plan service projects, develop messaging and storytelling skills, and practice leadership and public speaking skills in a supportive, fun, engaging environment.
This summer we will have weekly themes and youth will be divided into cohorts. Each cohort will work on a different project to be presented to the greater group at the end of the week.
The program will run from: June 10 - July 19, 2024, Monday - Friday (holidays on June 19th and July 4th).
All high school students, (rising 9th through graduating seniors) are invited to apply to the YCS Summer of Service Together 2024.
We will all kick off the summer with a retreat and orientation, then break out to cohorts and end the summer with reflection and a fun celebration.
